What Is the Dental Implant Process?

Your dental implant process will begin with a thorough evaluation of your smile’s unique needs. We will use our cutting-edge CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) unit to capture highly detailed 3D images that allow for a close evaluation of your mouth, including the bones, nerves, and surrounding tissues. Your CBCT scans also allow us to design surgical guides that ensure your implants are placed with exceptional precision while significantly reducing the risk of complications.

Before placing your implants, we will numb the area for your comfort and are pleased to administer dental sedation, if needed, to help you relax during treatment. Once you are completely comfortable, our experienced dentist will place one or several implants in your jawbone, depending on your unique needs.

As the area heals, the titanium implant will bond to the bone, creating a strong foundation to support your replacement teeth. Once the area has fully healed, which can take a few months, we will take digital impressions of your mouth to create your new implant restoration. What Can You Expect During a Root Canal Treatment?

We will start by gently numbing the affected tooth and surrounding area with a local anesthetic. We are also happy to administer dental sedation, if needed, to help you feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment.

Once you are completely numb and comfortable, we will make a small opening in the tooth, through which we will clear your diseased tooth pulp and infected tissue. Next, we will disinfect your root canals and may apply an antibiotic to prevent further infection. The last steps of your root canal treatment are placing a biocompatible material in your root canals and placing a filling material to seal the space.
